Solar Batteries: A Guide to Their Benefits and Advantages

Image
As solar technology continues to evolve, more and more homeowners are deciding to invest in solar batteries to accompany their solar panel systems. Solar batteries are a significant investment, but they offer a wide range of advantages that make them an attractive option for those looking to boost their home's energy efficiency and reduce their electric bills. With solar batteries, homeowners can store the electricity their solar panels generate during the day for later use, meaning they can access power even when the sun isn't shining. Whether you're looking to save money on your energy bills or be prepared for an emergency, solar batteries are a great way to get the most out of your solar panel system. Every day, more and more homeowners are choosing to install solar batteries with their solar panels. Solar batteries provide several great benefits that ...

SOLAR BOOM TAKING OFF AMID RISING ELECTRICITY AND GAS PRICES

To say that Australians are losing faith in the national grid’s stability and ability to provide electricity and gas at reasonable prices would be an understatement. Many customers around Australia have already been hit with huge electricity price increases, and there’s more pain to come. The Federal Budget released on October 25 suggested that electricity could rise a further 56%, while gas prices could increase 44% in the next couple of years. For households already struggling to keep up with rising costs of living, this is certainly causing concern. Of course, when you don’t trust the national grid to deliver affordable and reliable power, the only solution is to generate energy yourself. According to recent statistics, solar energy is the people’s choice, with solar uptake increasing even further since the Budget announcement. Decreased payback times When you install a  solar energy system , you typically look at a ‘payback period’. This has nothing to do with how your finance ...

Of course, the well-publicised La Nina weather pattern has been the leading cause, especially considering it’s the third year in a row Australia has experienced it – another situation that is extremely rare. So, with all that rain behind us, what’s on the horizon for the rest of the year and 2023? Are the rains going to stop? The CSIRO’s principal research scientist for oceans and atmosphere, Dr James Lisbey has given some good news for those of us thinking the never-ending cycle of rain is here to say. In fact, he suggests La Nina will weaken by early January. This doesn’t do a lot for people’s Christmas and New Year plans, with the Bureau of Meteorology suggesting the bad weather isn’t over just yet. In fact, they have suggested that Australia has a 73% likelihood of ...
